About

About me:

Since many years I use plenty of open source softwares. At the beginning, I was mainly interested by the cost of this type of softwares, but now the products” flexibility and the state of mind of the community are motivated me to use them more and more. One day I’ve started by reporting translation errors or software bugs. I help for completing the documentation too. Then I’ve looking in the code, suggested patches to correct bugs  and tested beta release…  Now, I realize I’m not any more a simple user but I’m a contributor to this different projects.

Now I’m helping commercial application developers. It seems wired but I think as I’ve already paid to use a software, I can send feedback with bugs and ideas to developers in order to improve the application. I was surprised by the number of developers open to discuss and the reactivity to take into account new ideas.

About this blog:

I’ve created this blog to follow my contributions and communicate about the open-source projects and others I like. I hope you’ll be interested in reading it and I hope many of you will be motivated to start contributing to the softwares you use.  Please be convinced you can help this type of projects a lot, even without having no knowing about software development..

Enjoy your reading.
